That's interesting (and pretty lame) that big bands are doing this too. I remember back in my Soundcloud DJ days I'd have friends who would buy like 5k bot listens to their songs and always thought it was stupid. Seems like it's part of the larger and awful trend of juicing the algorithms like coming out with two hour albums.
