This and Rooms are both very mediocre. I dig Panorama way more than both of them tbh, but nothing can touch the first two.

Still the most cinematic record released this year for me, followed by Bambara Birthmarks and then newest Thrice.

Bambara is the bands name, Birthmarks the name of the record.

Give them a chance, you might like them. Also a very cinematic album but a more noir feel.

Environmental Catastrophe Film is one of the best songs I've heard in the genre.
Co-sign.
And yeah, I don’t hate Rooms. Woman, Reading is great plus a few others. It’s just a bit bland compared to all their other albums. Still a pretty good album, but wouldn’t call it great. It certainly has intent and meaning behind it, I just didn’t completely mesh with the overall sound. Still a valiant effort and an uncompromising record. I respect it more than like it I guess.

Yeah the t/t really should have been the actual closer. Though I really like how bleak End Times Sermon is.
Album still wrecks me. Hasn't left my rotation at all and is quite comfortably my AOTY next to LPWP
