hell hath no fury is maybe my fav set of hip hop beats ever assembled, dude is undoubtedly a legend with an unmatched track record etc etc but he's spent the bulk of the past 10-15yrs producing for popstars and soundtracking disney movies and i can't help but hear that stuff seep into a lot of his choices here, something really sanitized and overly polished about it no other way to describe it
which is weird as i didn't feel this way at all with his songs on its almost dry

not that it's that old, but I think it's almost dry is aging beautifully. I feel like it's sort of being forgotten, which is a shame, but is also going to be such a treat for people to go back to next time Pusha puts out a solo album.

I don't listen to enough hip hop these days but this was awesome. Definitely gonna be giving it more listens in the future.

It's prolly like a 4.7 or so for me, it falls off ever-so-slightly in the back two tracks for me. Fucking stellar release though.

I really fuck with this record but I think opening it with the Birds Don’t Sing was a mistake, completely threw me on what to expect from this. I honestly feel like it’d work better as a closer
Idk what do I know

Play it backwards? Hail Satan!

best beats pharell has ever made on this, the previous choice was HHNF but he tops that here

I thought that myself for a while, but I think the way it contextually prepares you for the rest of the album is very strong. It's a crazy swerve, and I think Chains and Whips feels all the more sinister following that gut punch.

Pusha in the Epstein files is really something man... But if you think about it, he often says that he still got connections when complexions fade lol

This was overhyped af anyway. His real jewels were when he was backed by Kanye

¯_(ツ)_/¯ some of that stuff doesn’t make a whole of sense timeline-wise. Jay-z is reported to have been doing stuff like that in 96, but that’s the year his first album came out so he wouldn’t have been famous yet. Push being there at all makes almost no sense. There’s a lot of obvious pictures and shit that paints a pretty clear picture and I haven’t seen either one of them yet in anything verifiable so I wouldn’t put too much weight on it just yet until we see more stuff

It is still the Trump DOJ putting this stuff out too and push just did a concert in Richmond in support of our new dem governor that won a contentious race. Wouldn’t be surprised if they aren’t just throwing shit in there that’s unverifiable to just create smoke and mirrors even more so

Yeah, I find it pretty hard to believe tbh.

It was a tip call in reported to the FBI with a really unlikely/fabricated story based on so many things not lining up whatsoever in the persons story.
