Still can't help rocking out to Welcome Home. I forget what version of guitar hero it was on, but that's the song that got me into Coheed & Cambria.

Navigates a post-breakup misogynist spell somewhat more gracefully than Everything You Ever Wanted To Know About Silence but can't put my finger on why
|
| |
rambling prog misdirection + some pretence of fictionalisation
|

i prefer my misogyny unbridled tyvm

Idk if this is a hot take, but The Suffering is one of the best tracks here and would prob feature in my top 25. Willing Well 2 and 1 are the best songs on the album, but The Suffering would be top 5 along with Writing Writer and Ten Speed.

This albums is insanely catchy. Front to back. So many good riffs
|
| |
It's got a couple standouts but everything kind of just blends together
|
| |
Listening to this for the first time in a while, still rocks.
Willing Well suite is just exceptional but shout out to Ten Speed, The Suffering, Apollo I and Mother May I are brilliant.
