I don't doubt this but Daniel tried to shoot that down by saying Brendan wrote a majority of the ideas for GLOW ON and that the band was his baby with the rest of the members following his vision. So I'd like to believe that coming straight from a member of the band but also there's one album without Brady and it's the one without the same kind of riffs as the others.

i def feel like the lack of "classic turnstile riffs" on this album is way more artistic choice than limitation tho (for better or worse), and don't think the album would be all that different if he were still in the band.

It just sounds like the last album but now it's not fresh. It's enjoyable tho but umm yeah.

Nvm I was vibing but then I got to this one song and I was like fuck this, gonna listen to something else.

So, my buddy who listens to zero 'hardcore' or any "heavy" music whatsoever (mostly house music and "indie" stuff for him) informed me the other day that this album is amazing. I think I better understand the audience for this.

checked this out as my first Turnstile album, figure it can only go up from here based on most people's reactions. It's not bad and I definitely see where their mass appeal comes from but it's kinda just diet Deftones.
