I must be the only person who didn't like this album... the build-ups were pretty epic, but the music was SO BORING. There was nothing going on in any of the songs. Hated In Fiction.

Progmaster85 is an oxymoron. Album probably slays all other progressive metal albums and is the best in the Post-Metal genre. Only album that is album to touch and have sex with this is Oceanic.

Oceanic > Panopticon > Absence > Celestial > Wavering etc etc.

Grinning Mouths and In Fiction rule though. I must tell you how I came of this cd. I was basically reading about everyone jizzing all over this album about a year and a bit ago. I finally downloaded it and I listened to it and I as like wtf this is meh.

Then I started putting this album on when I was sleeping. It seems like it slowly embedded itself into my brain and I was starting to like different parts. Backlit was my first love, since the nice calm spacey intro was easy to get into. I found myself falling asleep at the 4th track (wills disolve) always.

Eventually I was just putting it on as background music and totally loving the build ups and waiting patiently for those crescendos. It takes at least 8 or so listens to appreciate.

Oceanic may be slighty better, but the tones on that are similar on this album.
