Bloody falling for how this lures you in with atmo / aesthetic and doesn’t let you know when it’s gonna give you those releases
I know how this goes by now, yet the surprises are still apparent if I switch off for even a moment. Proper tension and release. Love it

"you need to make time for this behemoth" ye you need time for first track alone m/
"definitely improved on further inspection - some of the improv parts especially." Ye I'm one listen in and I don't mind and quite enjoy the sunnO ))) like drone sections. I need to sink the teeth on the other sections where they seem to just randomly playing each one to his own side. First track is a godamn beast and oh boy, that's how to end a 25min track m/

Triple post fuck it. This is fucking incredible. Extremely dense and riff heavy but also very drone(ish) and drawn out in a good way a lot of the time too. Stunning stuff bros.

When I first heard Panopticon all those years ago, it sounded super composed but also effortless and spontaneous. Totally different sound here but the same feeling. Great concept behind it all, too.

To the current ISIS convo - Celestial rules super hard and is way too often overlooked in their discog but I think they hit on some transcendental shit with Oceanic and Panopticon, and to a degree it's understandable. Especially Oceanic. That's probably like a top 5 all time desert island album for me
