If Symbolic is dirty ass then it is at least in the same league or worse than Nightmares of the Decomposed which is a mentally insane take

u right its considerably better than symbolic, as overhated as it and this are overrated
your implied unhinged bashing and the fact u choose what is prob the most bashed dm adjacent band ever doesnt help the total sheepfold of your own habits however

"Also, feel like the drummer is just recycling drum parts and fills at this point. Dude's fast as fuck but 90% of his fills are just fast linear fills"
probably the dumbest take ever

Album Rating: 3.5
Yeah this ain’t cutting it
And for an album with such name it’s extra disappointing
3.5 for musicianship and proficiency
But it’s creatively bankrupt in the sense either them or DsO have already played stuff like this for an accumulative seven hours throughout their discographies.
Nothing new, same riff saturation that was cool back in Everything is Fire but got old fast.
I’ve legitimately heard this band for like three weeks and rushed through their discography (I heard it whole in two days while playing Binding of Isaac, and have replayed what I thought were standouts, most of them definitely were) and I’m already exhausted.
I’m still waiting for the Arby’s album. I owe my life to Arby’s. They won’t disappoint me, I know it. Impending doom approaches.
