Oli sounded savage as fuck during his peak, average is NOT what I'd describe him.

Idt it’s so much that we’re geezers but more like we’ve grown to appreciate artists that aren’t whiney and generic sounding. Lyrics are lolbad across the board with these guys too

I can understand why scene people say age is just a number, it kinda sucks when as you age society expects from you more than just doing drugs and fucking bitches - yet many people understandably don't want to let that lifestyle go

Record is surprisingly decent to be honest. A bit too much weird interludes and stuff that really add nothing but oh well

a few more listens under my belt where I was able to pay closer attention.....
Yeah, this thing rules lol There are definitely a few moments where the immaturity kinda takes away from my enjoyment and may some aspects that are a little too rAnDoM, along with some bloat but it's still a remarkably smooth experience considering everything it's cramming together. They've really been on a tear for the last decade. Very curious how things go Post-Fish, but this is so much damn fun

I mean I get the appeal of this, it just doesn't work for me unfortunately. Which is a shame cause these guys were very near and dear to me in high school with their first few albums. I do like that they're successful now after going through all the unwarranted hate they got from like 06-09

same exact for me steak. good for them, just ain't for me at all and i can have fun with dumb shit like someday came suddenly.
i just don't know why people are acting like smashing pop trends and breakdowns together is innovative or worth noting

BTMH do a far better job at smashing pop, breakdowns, and genuine electronic together than most and I think that's really it.
Many have tried, but it's usually awful.

Agree with Hawks. A diversion from my everyday listening experience. Although about half way thru it lost me. Never listened to the band before this. Production is so 2024.

The amount of seethe this band generates makes me like them even more tbh. Elitist nerds rip their hair out when this band gets brought up lol

This is post-Fish mostly actually. Delays got most certainly caused by Fish leaving the band and as you see he isn't noted as a co-writer or producer on most of the songs here.

liking something more because perceived elitists dislike it is just as pathetic as disliking popular music because the masses enjoy it
no, elitists do not rip their hair out when this band gets brought up, stuff dreamt up by the utterly deranged
