Only A Venture is slightly under the "classic" line

Nah "A Venture" rules. My weak point is "Perpetual Change"

The main Moog riff (although I'm not completely sure it's played on a Moog) didn't age that well, I'll give you that, but I still love its fully confident grandeur. And the rest of the song is almost on par with every other song on here; great and catchy verses and chorus, amazing instrumentation, and, most importantly, a brilliant ending.

Still, I do agree with you that it doesn't rank among the most interesting and well-made tracks on the album.

"there are days when i think this is better than Fragile, but idk "

Especially on those days when the only Yes song I'm just in the mood for is "Clap." So good.

"but Perpetual Change is the best on this"

Starship Trooper is the best Yes song ever honestly.

@Shark: listen to Fragile, it's essential.

Am I the only one who's least favourite of this album is I've Seen All Good People?

maybe I guess

least favorite goes to Clap, good acoustic tune but it doesn't match up to the trio of Good People, PerpChange and Starship Trooper

Starship Trooper > Yours Is No Disgrace > A Venture > Clap > I've Seen All Good People > Perpetual Change

I do like them all, it's that the bottom two overstay their welcome just a bit.

Good to know I didn't get crucified, there's enough places you'll be thrown in the pits for not liking critical darlings. Which I'm pretty sure this album is (And so most of the songs, too.)

The section of "Starship Trooper" starting at 5:40 is ethereal. It has this indie/post-punk vibe years before those genres even existed.

Dude that intro bassline was the first thing I heard from the band, and it was love at first listen
