This really is their best work. New album also great but the highs aren't as high. Nothing there touches Cellar Door, Jaded or Ultraviolet, outside of maybe Perfect Soul.

honestly I think Cellar Door is a bit overrated, they have better heavy songs. But this really is some of their best work. Am starting to think they should just stick to EPs because maybe the long-form format isn't working for them as well

Agreed. And doing EPs hopefully we could get them more frequently. We did get Rotoscope and Fear between albums, but 4 years is a long time these days. An EP every 18 months would be killer

pretty sure this also dropped same day as empty country ii, superbloom and summer moon so it was also j a lot was competing for my attention
