I was wondering when Mongi would appear!

Think a 4ish is where this will sit, doesn't hit the same highs as its predecessor (high bar to clear anyways) but the arrangements overall are smooth as hell. And that emotional core is still trucking on.

Love Comes Around isn't getting enough love tbh. That piano line is sublime.

Haha I’m here. Life has been crazy but I wasn’t gonna miss this. Yeah hence my previous comment. This one felt like they had a lot more “fun” and energy to it. Two different albums and that’s great. TDDB is better though ;)

In a weird way this album makes me appreciate TDDB a whole lot more. I must have listened to it like 9 or 10 times since 2013, it was always a nice solid 4 but nothing special. This album was an insta-5, but in returning to TDDB it now sounds phenomenal. It's like Summer Moon somehow opened the TWBF floodgates.

@Sowing, just saw your comment from a few pages back on the review. Thanks so much! I mentioned earlier in the thread how much pressure I felt on writing this one up, so glad the end results came through.
