If this album had been out at the time, i probably wouldn’t have checked it then either way. I’ll joke, but I’m not particularly invested in the Tallica, though i do contemplate how popular they are/have been on occasion as i think it’s interesting that any metal has the capacity for global popularity on their level, especially for as heavy as they can be.

I'm somewhere between a 3 and a 3.5 for this, but it's definitely my least favorite post-St. Anger record so far. Lars' drumming is almost irritatingly basic, even by his own standards
