I listened to this on speakers and I can kinda see why people have some of the complaints they have but it's face melting on my xm4's and I wouldn't change anything about it

people have been complaining about Danny’s violently weird vocals for a long long time but idk I’ve always found it refreshing. Definitely need good speakers/headphones to appreciate the range of this one

he did "normal" vocals on side a of old and the bulk of his last album... aka all of his worst material lol

Old was a college classic. People would often ask me what my perpetual choice was when it was on: “break it (go)”

To be fair, Danny tells no lies and tells his truth. He's a big dog like Marmaduke.

First two tracks had really grating sample high end to me for some reason. Album has some sweet tracks though but overall not my cup

I always thought the second half of Old kind of sucked minus Kush Coma and Float On, and the latter is alright, nothing special rly.

I love this review and I’m a little pissed off at how much I like the music despite feeling heavily pandered to. I’m def echoing the sentiment a lot of ppl are having about liking the production but not liking the vocals. There’s a lot of good one liners in here but the delivery does not give the overall product a lot of staying power. What I’d love to hear is something like James Blake or OPN style vocal manipulation over these beats. Now THAT would make the hoes feel an interesting sort of way

yea jpeg has a very boring delivery and Danny's is just played out at this point. I really dont understand the appeal of jpeg. sure the beats standout but his rapping is shit

you know, for someone that (usually rightfully) lols at snowflake overreactions to things, you sure seem to be doing exactly that in response, which was honestly just an observation, and an astute one at that, despite your opinion that it is a nitpick. I read it more as intending to elicit conversation about flows (which is half of why this website is enjoyable), which you promptly shut down with an odd sense of superiority.
