Seizures, Serpent Column, Rolo Tomassi, and Vein.fm, have all dropped some solid stuff in recent memory. With two of those defunct though, it doesn't really translate to a thriving scene. Mathcore/real metalcore is pretty niche rn. Heard good stuff about TELOS but haven't actually listened to them yet.

lol I haven't been following Mando season 3 at all but I just can't imagine Jack Black having anything to do with Star Wars. Like, when Timothy Olyphant showed up essentially playing his character from Justified, it took me out of things.

the difference there is Timothy Olyphant is a great actor and Jack Black was doing Jack Black stuff in an absolutely terrible episode where they did "what if this was csi and Din was a super racist cop"

if they're really dealing with all the Rebels shit I think it'll be fine, that show has so many wild ideas to fuck around with. at the very least I can't imagine it being worse than Kenobi lmao

Noo Deadwood is a show my parents were obsessed with when I was growing up so I always relegated it to parent-core tv in my mind and never thought it was something I’d enjoy. But I’ve heard a lot of people say it’s good.

Also as much as I love Rosario normally, I hope in Ahsoka they allow more of her personality from the animated shows come through. I find it hard to believe that her personality would just completely evaporate in the time from then and now. It seems to me like the show runners keep pushing to neuter these beloved characters of any semblance of dynamism and charisma. Cuz they did it with Bo Karen too, and I sincerely doubt that she couldn’t do a top notch job of portraying a character she’s voiced for over a decade if left to her own devices.

Deadwood is def good boomercore it's Sopranos tier



they have done an impressively bad job of translating Bo to live action lol, literally all the interesting facets to her character just got completely shafted and she's super bland now. not an actinf problem either because she's generally reliably great
