Why thanks Serpento. I can safely say Slayer isn't for everyone, so you might want to dabble the water for a little by DL'ing a few tracks and then if you like it, jump on in.

The version of Jihad I heard was okay. The vocals didn't sound that bad for a thrash band, but I didn't like the way Tom actually sang the song. But other than that I'm going to reserve judging the song until I hear a version that isn't a radio edit. >>

Well the radio edit version just 'cuts' out the f-word here and there (only used twice). So that's pretty much the real version. Basically, if you don't love 'Jihad', you'll hate the rest of this album with a passion beyond belief.

Definately a strong album and the return of the classic lineup with Dave Lombardo once again. Unbelievably fast riffs and very tight musicianship. Great album for '06.
