The difference between Metallica and Megadeth is; When Megadeth releases a new album I fully expect to enjoy it.

I almost feel like upping this a .5 just because of the 'Police Truck' cover lol.

Highlights: Night Stalkers and Mission to Mars. The tracks on here follow the same trend modern Metallica is guilty of, being overly long

Bro Metallica's last album was 2 fucking cd's of that shit, not even to mention the blandest most vanilla production ever.

Full agreement with cageofman, the uniqueness of the riffs is what missing here. We know theye guys can do fast and technical, but somhow the stuff here just doesn't catch into my ears. Their peak stuff had unique riffs. United Abominations and Endgame had unique riffs. This just sounds very samey.

Honest question.

Pinehead in the flesh. Pinhead, if I gave you a choice of listening to this album for the rest of your life OR listening to the death rattle of your only child, which one would you pick?

Jesus Christ. Do you all see whats happening here? I remember when Risk came out and they played "Crush Em" on the radio on repeat for months. I wanted to kill myself. What the fuck happened to my favorite band!? Now when I listen to this shit it makes Risk sound good. That's not right! Music and especially art should not be based on the "better by comparison" analogy. There is a stark contrast between 90's Megadeth and 90 year old Dave. This is dogshit and its embarassing to all metal musicians across the globe. Imagine if Death put out an album like this. This is a fucking 1 and there is nothing metal about it. It's a cash grab and a "hey my ego tells me im still relevant" failed 3D Chess move by Mustaine. I wish I could give this a .5
