It feels like pretty much any modern band can be "atmospheric avant-garde/dissonant/whatever" nowadays and people will eat it like breakfast simply because of the tag
Or maybe I'm just very stupid and doesn't understand the deeper meaning of this kind of music no matter how hard I try. And I've REALLY tried.
