I strongly prefer their funky stuff. A lot of this is just radio friendly pop rock. It's not bad, but I far from love it.

interesting idk. I still like BTW it just doesn't do too much for me.

Awesome album. It's a big departure from Chili Peppers' funk style of their early days, but it's just up there with Blood Sugar as one of their best albums. Can't Stop was my go-to jam a few years ago.
