Agreed with all that - but it's the closest they've approached to Loveless - it's a definite movement. And when you listen to it in the right mood and it hits - it REALLY hits, Loveless style - at least in atmosphere. And tell me there isn't a To Here Knows When vibe to the start of Modern Love Stories...

Honestly, the only song here that I could slot straight into a past Beach House album is The Bells; I like it very much, but nothing new going on. Everything else sounds to me like a creative leap.
