@Titan: they might just not be for you (though I’d say to give them a chance), but personally I just find them consistently more engaging and plain better than other bands who attempt this type of sprawling music. Plus, their production and the way everything is recorded is so satisfying to me; they’re heavy but not dripping in distortion and keys/synths are integrated seamlessly. They really seem to love what they’re doing and seem a genuinely good bunch, too, which also helps.
On an unrelated note, it will be interesting to see which other albums they release on their new label. Blodet are writing and they’d be a perfect fit.
