Yeah I'm never disappointed when a song from this sneaks into my shuffled playlist. Lots of super solid stuff here.

I've been listening to this non stop for well over a month. I genuinely thing it's the best thing they've ever done! It's somehow simultaneously their heaviest, most groovy, and most emotional album. Every song takes their sound in a new direction, and fully showcases their talent and flexibility of their sound. There isn't a single bad song to be found.
Far from Heaven, In Shadows, Two Towers, and Higher Level of Hate all coming back-to-back is an EXPERIENCE!!

top deathcore agreed

theres some interesting songwriting going on here, but the production is uniquely bad even for deathcore. one of the worst drum tones ive ever heard. even an e-kit would sound better than this.

Their last 3 albums all scratch a distinctly diff itch for me and all of three are so, so good

I'm kind of disappointed by this album. But I respect them for not only making deathcore semi-serious again, but also making clean vocals in deathcore not a complete joke. Even when they kinda let me down they're at least still tasteful which is very rare for the genre so kudos

finally catching up on these lads. i listened to the great collapse a time or two and went "aw yeah they still good" and then didnt touch them again until now because of the FFAA/acacia strain/full of hell tour that got announced. and the boys still got it.

They've prolly ascended to being my favorite dxc band at this point.
Wildly consistent and constantly toeing the line between meaty dxc and their other influences. Only dxc band that I think is approaching their heights at this point mightttt be Lorna Shore tbh

I think I agree at this point. They've been remarkably consistent with everything they've put out. I just wish I hadn't abused the singles so much before the release of this one. It really blunted the impact.

That's a problem with singles in general imo. I get why bands do it but I avoid em
Sea of tragic beasts is still their best, that album is damn near flawless and fucking rips
