It's winter already, time for...
The kessel closes, constricting the throats
Of those spared from starvation
Frostbite death and suicide
The morsels standing march to the beyond

Crazy that no one has written Imperium Delirium a review yet. The mix is bad but I also realized that it has a nu-metalcore tinge to it.

It's cause it wasn't anything special tbh. A bit stagnant, a bit stale. Honestly, dunno what more they could have done to change things. But... apathy is setting in.

The biggest issue to me is the production. The album has quite many cool things going on but the vocals and guitar solos drown everything out. Music wise, I definitely like that it's faster and more guitar-oriented than Elegy.

Nevermind, rejamming it right now for the 5th time this week and I can't stand it. Competent deathcore by all metrics applicable but utterly unmoving. Intensified Genocide, Chthonic Odyssey, The Return or The Prelude to Bereavement are so dope for a reason, where my fucking replay value at?
