Man on the Moon and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind rule as well. Dude has serious acting ability.

Yeah man! You know, it was a pretty cool collaboration between The Weeknd and Jim Carrey.

I keep coming back to this for the production. Inspiring me to break out my midi controller and pump out some thumping bass tracks.

the thematics on this album are still so off-putting tho, doesn't mesh with the actual music. like these are some sexy club bangers, why they think that correlates to freeing your mind and pseudo-deep cultish interludes beats me. and then the quincy jones thing too just has nothing to do with the theme of the album, its so random.

I don't mind a bit of juxtaposition. Teitur once said

"No more happy songs of heart-break." but I'm all about that. Dance the depression away, you know?

That being said, I'm all for some nol synthwave. Bring it on, man.

oh my personal set up is bare bones, just a midi controller and my laptop lmao. I have more instruments than production stuff, I’ve only recently gotten into that side.

I’m fortunate to be close friends with this guy who’s got a whole studio set up in his basement tho, he’s got tons of equipment. He charges most bands to record, but I get the buddy pass and record for free

After Hours has songs that stand out more, but imo I would say this is overall better too
