Nope you're right lol. I've had my eye on this. With that said I haven't actually featured an album since Q1 of this year. Jom took the wheel when I got covid in the Spring and never really looked back. He's done such a great job of leveling/equaling exposure time for each release that I'd feel like I'm disrupting a pitcher in the middle of a perfect game by chiming back in all of the sudden.

I don't know what it is about this particular release, but it's perfect for me. It's not super experimental or genre bending, but the emotions ride really high vocally and instrumentally. Black metal rarely speaks to me, but I've been listening to this on a nightly basis as both a source of joy and a cathartic release.

spenser morris worked on a few saor records so perhaps that's what you're hearing but no, saor wasn't an influence.

I'm in love brother. You can be very, very proud of this. Listened again with lyrics and multiple points had me actually choked up, which is very rare for me. Aoty material for sure, needs some time to simmer with me before I'll know where it lands.

I listened to this cause it was trending and the ratings were good and didn’t read the review or comments. Was fully prepared to 4.5 this cause it’s amazing and then saw it was Noctus. Too cool man.
