lol yea same i tried learning it since i was all like "that main riff is basically just 0-1-0-1-0 i can do it" and then i watched a playthrough and theres so much more fast crazy shit goin on than just that, particularly in the verse before the first chorus

housefire goes the hardest on guitar of all these songs those riffs are craazy

"One of my biggest gripes with the album To be honest. Best tracks were singles"

i mean some of the best ones were but there's also "the sound of sleep", "till we have faces", "translate the sun", and the closer

Why does the closer feel like such a cliffhanger...

translate the night doesnt get good until the end imo (which is fuckin sick at least). closer is good but its a little underwritten and it takes so long to build up then cuts off the best part of the song very anticlimactically. i do like till we have faces a lot tho good vocal melodies on that one, tho i do wish they beefed up the instrumentation of their softer songs more. no one said they had to drop more of the intricacies of their writing whenever they go more melodic which ultimately holds that song and similar tracks back a bit

I also agree with I think it was onion that the interlude and intro are dumb and add nothing

yea ive been very vocal about how worthless they are lol i have skipped them since the day this dropped. liminal is particularly a complete waste of space that adds nothing to the album. worst silent planet interludes easily band needs to bring back the i drowned in the desert/to thirst for the sea type tracks
