Thank you. It's been about 4 days since I've listened to it and that's far too long.

Feels very Autumn-y to me but that could just be because it came out in the Fall back in 2021

New song is outstanding, although I'd be a little more hyped if the new album wasn't a collection of b-sides.

New album is not as good as this, but it is definitely growing and shaping up to be my #2.

it's great for effectively B-Sides...apparently Conor Oberst set up a whole new label to make sure it got officially released

Haha, I remember reading about that (article or press release, can't recall). I get irrationally bothered when artists admit that a new album is comprised of b-sides, because it makes me feel like it should be a compilation. What I don't know won't hurt me, just lie to me and tell me it's a new LP. Especially since that's how they officially released it, anyway.
All that pointlessness aside, I'm really loving Crime Scene Queen, Tomorrow Is Just A Dream Away, It's Midnight and The Doves Are In Tears, and Let Me Ride Away With The Horsemen (should have been the closer). Not a subpar moment here though, enjoyable straight through. Might whip up a quick review if you're not tackling it.
