Thanks Titan! I just feel a more uptempo, shorter track is an easier entry for the album, Hell is a perfect closer and breaking that Harris 30 minutes block also helps the overall listen.

Anyway, just bored here while I cry over the price of vynil these days. Of course this thing is 3 records and it sells accordingly.

One of the minor joys in life fellas, having some fresh Maiden songs in the arsenal

The fact that this is probably their last one makes me want to cry

Childatheart has spoken. This is the best iron maiden of all time.

If this is their last album, it's a bang. It's not ''LATE ERA MASTERPIECE'', but it's still a great goodbye.

I'm in the camp of wishing this was less proggy and had more bangers, even though the last track is good. BNW still my favourite post-80s release by far

Listened to this album on repeat since yesterday. Loving it! The only song that hasn’t grabbed me yet is The Parchment. I’m sure it will eventually though. Can’t get over how Celts, Lost, and Time Machine all heavily resemble sections of other Maiden songs (Clansman, Talisman, and When the Wild Wind Blows)

I’ve never been particularly great at telling each Guitarist apart, but am I hearing Adrian Smith on most of these solos? They sound a hell of a lot like his more planned out ones and the album is stronger for it.

Some of the fills and licks are definitely Janick but I’m not hearing a hell of a lot of Dave Murray unless he’s buried in the mix somewhere.

Dave and Adrian are always equal in the mix, and more power to you if you're able to tell, style wise, who's who. They both have incredible solos peppered throughout the discography, and I was surprised when I found out one of them had the solo when I always thought it was the other. For years, I thought that first solo of Powerslave was Adrian, but it isn't!

Also, Bruce and Steve have said countless times that they will continue until they're dead. Barring major health issues, no way this is their last record.

@Τitan Not that their attitude so far has hinted to anything different, it seems like the boys want to keep on making music. I believe they're going to tone it down on the touring, though
