Way, way, way better than the previous album! The first 4 songs especially are great! The back half is a little underwhelming though, still think their debut is the strongest album. Really love the post-punk undertones throughout all of this.

Yeah. I hope they kind of keep this vibe for the next album. Favorites are Violent Delights, Final Girl, and Nightmare.

I love Violent Delights and Final Girl, they're awesome! Seeing them in June so I'm on a bit of a CHVRCHES binge lol. Great band!

I saw them a few months ago. They were awesome. Whatever band they had opening for them was bland as fuck, though. Some lo-fi indie/dream pop shit.

Can't say I'm even remotely a fan of Coldplay. I'm glad I saw them headlining a mid-size club.

Can't wait!! Oh hell yeah, I'd take an intimate headline show from them over a shortened set in a large venue any day. Although I feel like their music will translate well into an arena setting, excited!

The fact that this album goes from Final Girl which is a straight up banger, into Good Girls which is a grating mess, is the reason I don't have this at a 4. Because there's some fantastic songs on here, but from Good Girls onwards it really sizzles out for me.

Good Girls is a good CRJ song and one of the highlights tbh

Rest of the album is definitely shaky though - Nightmares esp just screams b-side material, incredibly lazy writing
