You can kind of feel it on this album too, go back and forth between this and any of the Saturation's, and this one feels way more disjointed, like they all weren't in the same room. Like each of the songs were only done by two or three of the whole group

Pretty sure Windows is the only song with every member, and it basically just gives a whole verse to each

yeah iridescence would've been a strange note to go out on
if anything ginger should've been their swan song for how forlorn it was

It's insane looking back about how short their career is because my god they already left such a huge impact

Saturation trilogy was lightning in a bottle. Truly special time. Will never forget jamming III with a bunch of you guys on the "sputnikmusic discord server" the night it dropped. Will probably never again be as hyped/invested in an artist as I was these guys during that time. Crazy to think that was nearly five years ago at this point.
The whole Ameer situation ruined them. Straight up. Say what you want about his lazy flow/lyrics, but the void left after he was kicked was never filled. An identity crisis they ultimately never solved.

Yeah as much as I liked their albums since then, Ameer leaving made everything worse

Def interested in whatever they do solo, though.
Joba's solo career probably is the most exciting at the moment
Maybe Kevin Abstract's next solo album won't be as lame, too, now that Brockhampton's done

Last leg of this is really solid, When I Ball especially.
Still taken aback by their breakup even though I don't have much experience with this band. I know the whole Ameer situation was depressing for everyone involved, but it must've been so much fun to be invested in this band. Especially if you were into them from the start, just watching this cavalcade of dudes rapidly ascend in popularity in such a short time.

Stoked they didnt abandon it and curious if it really will be their "final" album as they claim

This album really does feel like a natural end point

every album since Sat3 (including the ones that never saw the light of day) has been called their final album at some point lmao
