I'm not even going to try to get excited about that, it will be terrible. SP operates purely on Corgan's massive ego these days - the Shiny tour, bringing James and Jimmy back purely for optics, this glorified solo pop album from a 55 year old man who heard kids like synths again thanks to Stranger Things, making a "sequel" to Mellon Collie... the last thing I saw them put up on their store was a 5x 7" box for the Cyr pre-release singles... NOBODY wants to relive that.
the only hope is if he scales way, way back, focuses on writing like ten solid songs, hires an outside producer that isn't fucking Rick Rubin, and puts an emphasis on the OG members' chemistry (if it's even still there). fuck the last couple albums have been so bad i haven't even gone back to their good albums since this came out.

edit: heard your song and was kinda surprised because for some reason i suspected it being more alt rock since you posted it on this thread haha, but it gave me som nice videogame vibes for some reason. kinda reminded me of Timesplitters or Unreal Tournament OST stuff
