I agree but at the same time its a shitty advice. I believe every Thou fan initially found Thou boring and repetitive...and suddenly...on a rainy day or something...click*! And there you have one of your faves doomsludge bands...as an advice I would say it helps to be well acquinted to doom, sludge and black metal.

I liked Heathen, didn't love it. I somewhat liked Magus, sort of. I also got some enjoyment out of ERR's 'Some Heavy Ocean' but haven't explored further.



I should probably use this as an opportunity to spend more time with both artists - yet I can just see myself spinning this a great deal more instead.

I would highly recommend the trilogy of 2018 EPs for a Thou newbie too. Each give you a different sampling of their sonic palette.
