Yeah, I think it’s a little too cheesy, a little boring, a little too clean in the production. They definitely stand out, I just kinda think a lot of those happy post rock leads sour the experience for me.

This isn't my wheelhouse, I must be lost, but I'm excited to check this.

"I saw Hopesfall mentioned and from my admittedly shallow knowledge of that band’s music, I didn’t understand the comparison."

Storm is a big Hopesfall fan and mentioned them in his review as a comparison, things just sort of spiraled from there.

"Last Hopesfall fucking sucked, try satellite years"

Aw man. I thought Arbiter was pretty damn good for a comeback. Faint Object Camera is one of their best songs. Hall of the Sky is pretty cool, too.

Faint Object Camera is straight up their best song but good god the rest of the album drastically pales in comparison to it

Hall of the sky rules, but it's not off Arbiter

Music doesn't have to sound similar to have similar songwriting and philosophies thus this album and No Wings to Speak of being easy comparisons.

That is a very generous way to allow comparisons to occur. With that logic, isn't it possible to compare this to basically any hardcore band so long as this particular songwriting template is in place?

Not really, hardcore bands suck and this doesn't.

Well, I think this album is similar to Converge albums because the songwriting intent is the same and they probably share the same philosophies. Discuss.

Hardcore bands do not suck. I've heard a lot of straight up hardcore that kicks this albums ass to my ear. Also, this barely has anything to do with hardcore sonically. Or it's just a broad amalgamation of post prefixes and core/metal suffixes?
