I love Ativan (the song), but the album could definitely do without Video Game. America is good. Die Happy is probably my favourite.

Parts of this actually remind me of Llama del Stray's last album, I guess it's the dissociative vibes the vocals provide and the vague art-pop-isms. Having said that, with the exception of 'Venice Bitch' Llama's album was way less interesting than this. Weird how the differently they've been received, guess that's what happens when an artist takes a direction people didn't ask for.

And why da fuck a dude wouldn t want to play no video game? God, I'm here begging for one night stand of gaming for ages...dude should raise one kid full time to see what is to want to play a simple (200 hours) video game.

Still trying over here. I'm a little clouded with new Deftones and Fleet Foxes which are far more engaging initially to me, but I wasn't all that excited once I learned/realized this was a sad Age of Adz/Planetarium style album (dig them both). There are some really awesome moments here, but it's going to take some time for me to really give this its due.

Spinning it again from the top after a brief hiatus away. Loving it more already on fourth-ish listen. I know it's gonna be a transcendent realization at some point - I await, breathlessly

I kinda like how simple Video Games is, it's what I want a critique of social media to sound like.

Yep this is wonderful. It's honestly like an entire album of Impossible Soul's slower moments.

This is damn bloated

Album Rating: 3.5
It is quite bloated - I do appreciate that it's not as obtrusive with the glitchy beats as Age of Adz can be at times. I love that album but I also find it to be equally grating at times where this has a nicer, warmer vibe while still remaining existentially pressing

Sowing - that is true. I love those prettier passages in that (bloated, 25 minute but awesome) song

It’s definitely bloated, but I gobbled most of it up like a greedy doggo in a biscuit cupboard.
