Here s how I rate. I try to approach each album humbly and with deep respect for the artist s intentions. For me listener s deliver is very important, and it showed me many good things I wouldn t think I d dig. If somehow I feel I m missing something I try to see what everyone else sees in it. Music is pretty much infinite, so it doesn t matter if you have 2000 or 18000, so its better to take the best out of what you re listening. Also try to balance before pick a listen between what you know you are going to like and challenge into the unknown, but time is precious, irs impossible to keep up.

Eh? I don't get it.
3.0 - I kinda liked it. It was good for one or two listens, but not more.
3.5 - I liked it, and I can see myself jamming it time to time. Grower albums start here.
4.0 - I liked it, and I jam it quite frequently.
4.5 - I love it, even though it is not perfect. Regular jams.
5.0 - Simply perfection.

I gladly accept that grid garas, but I have no issues with sputgrid itself. To walk around hundreds of talented artists calling them average is what I kinda have issues with, but I have to accept the dude may simply not dig the thing...or music in general and its a masoquist...there...here I am not getting again x)

I've never been a hardcore fan of the band, but I really loved the two singles. Maybe it's a sign that they've changed/evolved their sound.
I had a feeling the review's rating would be around 4.5 and 5. Go figure ;)

This will take several listens to fully digest, but my surface impression after one complete listen, is that this is definitely on the same level as Everything is Fire and Shrines of Paralysis (and possibly better). It's genuinely impressive how pummeling and technical these guys can be, yet how relatively immediate the songwriting is.
