So I actuality really dig Cubensis.

Digging this album, the guitar tone is so good. I can hear the complaints about the clean vocals but they're tolerable

If guitar had ever been a focal point of this band for me I guess I might see this in a different light.

Aeolian is straight up a metalcore album


Intronaut you could argue was more progressive sludge or whatever I guess but the stuff they were doing on Null and Void had a lot in common with mathcore

yeah Intronaut was barely metalcore, definitely Aeolian tho

aeolian sounded like sludgy progressive post metal just like the rest of their early stuff to me last i heard it


mind u that was many many years ago but

intronaut 100% has never been metalcore, not even null or void, i'll give u the benefit of the doubt for aeolian

When the guitars start chugging I noticed the bass just disappears, could be my dollar store earbuds though
