I do wish Kadeem and Erik had more distinct clean voices, though I guess it’s not too big of a gripe since I like both. On a similar note, the more I listen to Heavy Is The Head..., the more I think the black metal intro is one of the biggest highlights on the record; his shrieks are stellar.

Yeah weird how they went full black metal or at least black gaze for the first minute and then it somehow never comes back

I predict the bump from me, but I get some ppl don't dig the djent, or the deftones resemblance...there's ppl for everything. AVG at 4 is pretty impressive.

I can understand why people wouldn’t enjoy it, but yeah most albums can only dream of averaging a 4.

Especially these days. If i recall correctly, Cult of Luna is the only artist from last year which got an above 4 avg, and even then it was "only" a 4.1

I love that part

Heavy is probably one of the best songs here, there's a lot to it. I also think the ending fits as well.
This album is really good, I just don't know how much I like it. Some of the song structures are perplexing and annoying, and the clean vocal melodies are acceptable Chino worship but not really memorable.
