I wonder what someone's expectations are for a project like this if they can hear a track like God of Love and not come away at least appreciative of how impressive it sounds (this does not apply to people who do not enjoy metal/experimental/avant-garde music)

Not sure. It genuinely feels like calling it black metal, even though the genre is infinite and can sound 1000 different ways, sets it up for purists to hate it, plus all the convoluted philosophical ideas that I don’t care very much to understand around it probably are a barrier to some. It’s arbitrary stuff that doesn’t matter though. She’s a very talented composer with innovative ideas.
