Say the Name goes hard. Really interesting track. Daveed never fails to impress me with his ability to spit ten words in less than a fraction of a second, but he sounds a lot more controlled here.

everyone who pre-ordered from Sub Pop got an email with a stream, there's probably rips out there I'd imagine
it's way way weirder than this. after 96 Neve Campbell it pretty much goes full on Weird Clipping for the entire run until Enlacing brings them back to earth. imagine the end of La Mala Ordina applied to the whole album energy-wise, that's basically it. can't wait to see some of the reactions to it lol

So, I couldn't help but track the new one down and give it a brief listen... Holy fuck. I'm gonna say it right now, Enlacing is the best song these guys have ever made. EVER.
Beyond that absolutely perfect track, Rowan you could not be more accurate with your description. The new one is noisier, grittier, and most importantly, weird as hell. Not as spooky per se as TEAATB, but a much more experimental and unusual record. The perfect counterpart to the previous.

She Bad has that really creepy rusty gate sample that almost sounds like a weeping animal. Cool stuff.
Of course, the production is just as flawless as ever. So much weird shit going on I can't even pin down how these guys conjure up such disturbing, yet natural and organic sounds
