“This style of metal is just not my thing. I understand why some may be into it, but any time l hear newer stuff, l always just end up going back to Discoveries“

Joshie nailed it. I don’t wanna keep bashing this, because it’s really just not my style. I’m glad people enjoy it and it’s cool they’re trying different stuff but yeah this just isn’t something I’ll ever return to. I hear this and it just reminds me how fucking awesome these dudes used to be and I go listen to Discoveries or Singularity.

Atleast this is something different from them, I enjoyed it the first time I heard this record.

Not really a metalcore album to me, it's more of an industrial, nu metal release.

Eclipse is awesome, Bloodline is groovy, haven't listened all the way through yet but I enjoy the Marcus era, so I'll probably like this

I should go back to some Celldweller and Blue Stahli to see if I still dig em.

Markedly better than the previous 2 efforts, but I still feel Marcus is a net negative for these guys.

Doesn't remotely sound like Celldweller to me. If you want a heavier version of Celldweller without the glitch stuff check out Sybreed.

it doesn't really seem divisive, most people seem to like it, it's just that everyone that doesn't is in this thread and posting every 4 seconds
