yeah I dig this band but this one felt strangely amorphous and riffless. the atmospherics on the new one really add some depth to the sound.

I disagree. Sure you have a 2 minute Timewave Zero like intro setting the atmo, but the other 2 tracks do not offer much atmosphere. When I go for Tomb Mold I want to feel coming from under the dirt. The tracks are great and have cool solos, but they are somehow less doomy sounding.
