'Boys Will Be Boys' is the most tedious arrangement and performance of the year which belittles the sentiment for me.



She's not channeling much here. It's very Lily Allen as stated before, sort of speak-sing over tra la la melodies. Has a few things to say but they're not coming out at all poetic or particularly songful.

My thoughts exactly. It’s one of those records where music seems a poor choice as a medium. Her words aren’t rounded out with melodies or any poetic sensibility so why not just send a few dozen tweets?

I saw the album cover and that’s what popped into my head. I’ve probably said much more distasteful things knowing myself Slex lol.

I think I should give this a fair listen though. Checked it out briefly but didn’t really digest any of it.
