If you have time, there's no harm in it. They are different enough from the originals that they can provide some extra entertainment.

"True re cohesive. But for me, the highs on that album (Dead Inside, Reapers, The handler, defector) beat the highs on this."

Dunno man, I absolutely love those songs. but Algorithm, Blockades, The Dark Side and The Void all remind me of their good old days. All while making new sounds with the likes of Propaganda, Pressure and Break It To Me. Highs on Drones are great, but this one has way more highs and consistency.

This just keeps growing on me, in particular Pressure and Thought Contagion (whoch I didn’t even like at first). Fav song is probably Algorithm though.

That 2.3 avg seems pretty ridiculous to me tbh. No way is this their worst album (that would be The 2nd Law, which still has some good songs).

Get Up and Fight is still awful. Dig Down and Something Human aren’t very good, but the rest is solid.

Yeah I see quite a few people saying that, but Drones IMO is their best post Black Holes album. This would be 2nd.

Drones > this > the Resistance > the 2nd Law.

So pretty similar. Going a step further:

Origin > absolution > black holes > Drones > simulation theory/Showbiz > the resistance > 2nd law

As a non-Muse fan I quite enjoyed the cyberpunk elements in the first couple of songs

I need to correct myself.

Simulation Theory > The 2nd Law > Drones > The Resistance

The last three albums are on a very similar level for me, but I enjoy The 2nd Law a lot more, because it's way more inspired than Drones imo and The Resistance isn't really bad, but just so mediocre apart from some little exceptions

Remember when uprising was played on the radio every 10 minutes for like 2 years straight? Bad times man

This is their worst for me. Propaganda, Break it to Me, Something Human and Dig Down are among the worst Muse songs

Yeah, I’m flabbergasted to see some of those tracks actually get some praise, they’re all awful.

The acoustic version of Something Human is the only good thing on here. Conversely, the "acoustic" version of Propaganda is just laughably atrocious.
