I honestly think half of you giving this a 1/1.5 barely listened to/only listened to a few songs and slapped that 1 up to fit in with the others Because it’s “cool” to hate Muse on this site. But that’s just my general impression. I haven’t listened to it yet.

this is alright. Not sure it deserves the 1's it's receiving, but I don't mind it.

Aside from Propaganda, nothing here is really "terribad."

It's a 2.5 at worst.

Algorithm alone warrants this a 1.5-2, it's a great song. But yeah, let's throw all those 1's around.

Bellamy's vocals are good, the instrumentation is alright if not a tad bland, the lyrics are hard to decipher...just another Muse album.

There are a few pretty good tracks here, the rest is fairly forgettable but I haven't found anything here unlistenable.

I've noticed several great bass lines on many tracks, tho. Instrumentation's good, these songs must sound incredible on a live setting.

How long until some moron whines about not being able to 0.5 a perfectly listenable album like this?

‘Perfectly listensble’

Muse are supposed to be creating entertainment, not sonic ambience of the equivalent of a kettle whistling

Perfectly listenable? Yeah right, does it boil water too

Far from it, even Metacritic's user rating is more objective than the sometimes shitty rating system here lol; it's currently sitting at 74. I'd even think that a rating between 65 and 70 would still be correct for this. I'll say it again: far from a 1.

Yeah this is bad but it's not a 1/5, IMO at least

I may reconsider and change my rating but this site is not the general opinion, and yap I'm aware and worried of the positive and negative hypes here. I'm sure this album will praise the masses, thus the sense of metacritic's rating

I mean, how can this be as bad as an Imagine Dragons or a Nickelback record, according to some of you here? Is it as bad as St. Anger, Fall Out Boy's last 3 records, every single thing Five Finger Death Punch has ever released or the latest Thirty Seconds To Mars record? It's inconceivable tbh, and yet here we are.

‘Far from a 1’

Money talks, how can you have an interview with said band and dish out a 1/5 rating?

Can’t happen.

It’s a 1

This is listenable. Nothing that's this tolerable should be getting below a 2.
