It's a relatively minor issue when compared to the uninteresting riffs & instrumentation, not to mention the 'neutering' production. Doesn't stop the lyrics from being a tad embarrassing, even within the genre(s).

This is more subdued than the Satanist though, so I can understand the 'boring' argument.

This was p decent. Not exactly blown away after first listen though. Some cool moments throughout though so gonna give this a few more spins.

Yes it's bad, but not because of some purposefully shitty lo-fi values though. They haven't even nailed the atmosphere correctly, it sounds muffled yet the songs should be huge.



Either way it just doesn't sound right.

I agree with demon here. this album is clearly not aiming for that traditional second wave lofi sound so I think it's fair game to have a go at the production.

This is all pomp and I love it.
