Goddammit Colton you ruined Thanksgiving

I don't feel any of the new singles have hit me quite as much as the singles leading up to their previous albums have.

I do appreciate that the engineering has continued along the crisp path that Marigold brought on but the songs themselves seem a little more linear than what I'm used to hearing from the group. I don't think they've quite sold me on these new songs either, though. I feel you completely, Colton.

An unfortunate truth for me as well. I am hoping to be knocked off my feet, but this is the least excited I have been ... kinda sounds like more of the same except less interesting, samey and more polished. PROVE ME WRONG PINEGROVE.

Meh. I will say I really enjoy the Meridian tracks being included on their live release from last year. Those songs are BANGERS.

^ I would suggest listening to all of Amperland if you havn't because it is strong live versions of all their tracks and will still scratch the Cardinal itch for ya a bit too.
