i think they pair rly well together, Row's dives deeper into lyrical/conceptual stuff where p4k's goes more into the goals of the album and it's history while both touch on the sound of it in accurate but slightly different ways

I love how fun this album is while remaining intimate, seriously hard to do. That being said, a lot of the material here feels very borrowed. I could cite a dozen bands this album reminded me of on first listen. For example, Lich Prince is a formulaic Brand New song, beginning to end, no argument. Am i mad about it? Nope.

that's pretty true. that's an consistent issue when bands try and be as eclectic as possible like this. silverchair, radiohead, tv on the radio, modest mouse etc. It's not a great thing when the best way to describe an album is by comparing it to every group who's done its sound already. then again, throwing in all in one album is what people like about this I guess
