KSG has no filler tho, unless we talking Reborn which is like half-filler.

I like KSG, I don’t love it. I feel like some of the production on it and especially ye is overindulgent kanye nonsense. But also KSG falls short for me because kid cudi has, save for his debut, never scratched any itches for me. I find his discography to be absolutely skippable in the grand scheme of hip hop.

This is definitely not a "trap" album but there's certainly trap elements here and there.

Also the line "I may be overlooked, but I'm never underpaid" makes no sense in Denzel's case.

yeah that was another dud line that stood out to me

Okay, that's fair. To be honest I don't really know much about anything that isn't metal, but I guess I just place it in that category because I don't know how to treat something of this style that go hard AF sometimes

It's the got the fast hi-hats, woofy sub-bass and some of the flow charactistic of trap but yeah I'd just put it under the nebulous "modern hip hop" umbrella

Plus you have songs like Sumo which are closer to trap, then songs like Black Balloons which is more hip hop/funk. Decent amount of variety here

How he got Pauly Shore to go on the cover in black face in white face, I'll never know. Connections.

I mean the Sumo beat is pretty much the Bodak Yellow beat with a heavier 808
