Yeah. This EP in general is way punkier than Dusk. I think that’s why I like it more. As far as their last decade of output is concerned, I far prefer when Converge indulges their punk roots. Hence why Axe to Fall >>>>> Dusk and All We Love

I'm a bigger fan of sludgier/emotional Converge, idk. Not to say their hardcore work can't be emotional, but usually the sludgier tracks tend to keep my attention more while the hardcore tracks just fly by. It's why the best work on the new Portrayal of Guilt is its longer tracks imho
