Find it quite ironic that anat called the new Beach House beige yet 5s this, the most beige album of all time.

Anything other than a 5 would be lying to myself for the way this makes me feel at the moment

If I have to bring it down later I will but I doubt it'll happen

This is defo not beige.

Pass me me some unecessary spectacles while I don some Rupert trousers and call me cunt but.....

This is a record that breathes life into a calcified scene. Over the course of the album the songs stretch and expand and all seem monumentally fresh.

There’s a feeling of detachment from Howard which is lifted by the songs flowing into melodic experiences which capture a real sense of development as a songwriter/musician.

The album engages, involves and evolves to a point where I feel it’s one of the greatest releases I’ve ever heard and I for one am genuinely excited to see what happens next.

His other stuff is a bit beige though tbh

Yeah I spun this last evening while sitting out on my deck drinking a beer and it's somehow even more amazing in peaceful situations.

Yep the down in the rookery ‘I’ll crow for you if you’ll crow for me” is one of the highlights.

Album has so many though, “England, a sedative on my tounge. Goodbye goodbye that’s all”

Class.
